TECOM Group investors to receive Dh440 million dividend after 9% profit growth

Date:

TECOM Group revenue exceeds Dh1.5 billion as occupancy reaches 97% and demand strengthens.

Dubai: TECOM Group will distribute an interim cash dividend of Dh440 million after its recurring net profit rose 9 per cent to Dh805 million in the first half of 2026.

The dividend is expected to be paid in August and follows a 12 per cent increase in funds from operations to Dh1.1 billion. The growth was supported by higher occupancy levels, improved rental rates and contributions from the group’s expanded property portfolio.

Revenue increased 11 per cent year on year to more than Dh1.5 billion, while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) climbed 10 per cent to over Dh1.2 billion. The company reported an EBITDA margin of 79 per cent.

Occupancy reaches 97%

Occupancy across TECOM Group’s commercial and industrial portfolios reached 97 per cent in the first half, driven by sustained demand for office spaces, manufacturing facilities, logistics assets and land leases.

“Our performance underscores the success of the Group’s strategy in balancing growth with prudent financial management, strengthening its ability to continue delivering sustainable value to shareholders,” Malek Al Malek, Chairman of TECOM Group, said.

Revenue from the commercial portfolio increased 11 per cent to Dh783 million, driven by strong demand for Grade-A office spaces. The portfolio recorded 96 per cent occupancy and a 94 per cent customer retention rate.

Revenue from industrial assets rose 15 per cent to Dh239 million, with occupancy reaching 98 per cent and customer retention at 99 per cent. TECOM attributed the growth to continued demand from manufacturing and logistics customers.

Land lease revenue climbed 22 per cent to Dh361 million, supported by strong demand and income from land acquired during 2025.

Quarterly profit reaches Dh401 million

Second-quarter revenue increased 11 per cent to Dh786 million, supported by higher rental rates, strong occupancy levels and the expansion of TECOM Group’s property portfolio.

Quarterly EBITDA rose 8 per cent to Dh613 million, with the margin reaching 78 per cent. Recurring net profit increased 7 per cent to Dh401 million.

“We remain committed to investing in the development and enhancement of TECOM Group’s 10 business districts, further solidifying the Group’s role as a strategic business enabler of Dubai,” Abdulla Belhoul, CEO of TECOM Group, said.
