UAE morning traffic: Rush-hour congestion causes delays on Sharjah-Dubai routes

Morning commute alert: Heavy traffic causes delays on key Dubai and Sharjah routes.

Dubai: Motorists are experiencing a slower morning commute across Dubai and Sharjah, with heavy congestion and multiple incidents affecting key routes, according to real-time Google Maps traffic updates.

Traffic is moving slowly along Al Ittihad Street near Al Mamzar, while congestion has increased on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road in Muhaisnah Fourth following a reported traffic incident.

Delays are also affecting Beirut Street and Al Khail Road near Al Barsha South Fifth, with traffic moving slowly in the area.

For commuters travelling from Sharjah into Dubai, heavy congestion is affecting Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road from City Centre Al Zahia following a reported traffic incident.

A separate collision has led to increased traffic on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Road in Sharjah Industrial Area, while another incident is causing delays on Sharjah Ring Road.

Elsewhere in Sharjah, motorists can expect delays on Maleha Street through the Industrial Area, while heavy congestion is affecting Emirates Road near Sharjah Grand Mosque following another reported traffic incident.

Drivers are advised to allow additional travel time, monitor traffic updates, and exercise caution when approaching accident sites. Conditions may change quickly during the morning rush hour.
