PAL announces three-day flash sale with up to 50% off flights; bookings close soon.

PAL launches major seat sale offering big savings on domestic and international flights.

Manila: Philippine Airlines (PAL) has launched a three-day flash sale from July 15 to 17, 2026, offering travellers discounts of up to 50% on domestic base fares and up to 40% on international base fares.

The promotion covers PAL’s domestic network as well as international routes across Asia, Australia, North America and the Middle East.

Travel under the offer begins on August 1, 2026, with discounts of up to 30% available for journeys taken until January 31, 2027.

The highest fare discounts under the promotion apply to travel scheduled from February 1, 2027, onwards.

As a full-service carrier, PAL’s eligible promotional fares include complimentary checked baggage, in-flight meals and onboard services.

PAL’s $300 million bond sale marks the first rated high-yield bond offering by a Philippine issuer in more than a decade and the first unsecured rated high-yield bond issued by an Asian airline, according to Forbes.

The airline has recorded a strong recovery in earnings since the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, which led to its bankruptcy filing in September 2021.

Zero-interest installment option

PAL is also offering 0% installment plans for domestic bookings worth at least ₱20,000 through participating banks, with payment spread over a period of up to three months.

Travellers can book promotional fares through the PAL website, mobile app, ticket offices, hotline or authorised travel agents.

The seat sale comes as travel demand continues to strengthen ahead of the holiday season and follows PAL’s recent $300 million international bond debut, which is expected to support the airline’s expansion plans.
