Flights to Dubai have also increased to 14 weekly services following the resumption.

Dubai: Turkish Airlines has resumed its Abu Dhabi flights as it continues restoring its Middle East network following a temporary suspension of services.

The Istanbul-based carrier resumed its Abu Dhabi flights on July 1, with services to Dammam scheduled to restart on July 10, followed by Kuwait on July 11 and Bahrain on July 16.

The move follows the resumption of Dubai operations on June 9, offering UAE travellers more options to connect via Istanbul to Turkish Airlines’ global network.

Dubai flights doubled
Turkish Airlines has also raised its Dubai service from seven to 14 weekly flights, effective June 25.

The carrier has increased its Amman flights from 14 to 21 weekly services, effective June 19, while services to Beirut have risen from 21 to 28 weekly flights starting July 1.

The airline said the resumption of services will help reconnect travellers across the Middle East to its global network via Istanbul. Turkish Airlines operates flights to more than 350 destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and the Americas.

The Abu Dhabi route operates from Istanbul as flight TK 868, departing at 6:45pm and arriving in Abu Dhabi at 12:25am on selected days.

The return flight, TK 869, departs Abu Dhabi at 1:30am and arrives in Istanbul at 5:25am.

Flights to Dammam are set to resume from July 10, followed by Kuwait on July 11 and Bahrain on July 16, as Turkish Airlines gradually restores operations across key Gulf markets.

The Dammam service will depart Istanbul at 8:15pm and arrive at 12:15am, with the return flight leaving Dammam at 1:15am and reaching Istanbul at 5:30am.
