UAE weather forecast: Temperatures expected to rise to 46°C amid continuing dust and humidity conditions.

Date:

Low clouds are expected along the east coast, while inland areas are set to experience rising heat later this week.

Dubai: Temperatures across the UAE are forecast to reach up to 46°C inland this week, with fresh winds expected to stir blowing dust in western areas and humid conditions along the coast, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

The NCM said today’s weather will be fair to partly cloudy, particularly over northern and eastern regions, with light to moderate south-westerly to north-westerly winds strengthening up to 40 km/h in western areas, where blowing dust is expected. Seas will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea. Inland temperatures are forecast to range between 41°C and 46°C, while coastal areas may see highs of up to 41°C.

From Wednesday through Saturday, fair to partly cloudy conditions are expected to persist. Low clouds are forecast along the east coast on Thursday and Friday, while temperatures are set to rise—particularly in inland areas—from Friday onwards.

Winds are expected to ease slightly, ranging between 10–20 km/h and reaching up to 30 km/h at times. Seas will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea throughout the rest of the forecast period.
