‘Trust the process’: Photographer from Bangladesh celebrates Dh25,000 Big Ticket success

Date:

The winner intends to invest his winnings and remain in the running for future prizes.

Dubai: For Mohammed Nasim, a Bangladeshi photographer who has been living in the UAE since 2007, patience and perseverance have finally paid off.

A regular participant in the Big Ticket draw, Nasim was named one of four winners in June’s second weekly e-draw, taking home a cash prize of Dh25,000. Reflecting on his win, he offered a simple piece of advice to others hoping for similar success: “Trust the process.”

Years of persistence rewarded

Nasim, whose family resides in Bangladesh, has been a regular Big Ticket participant for several years. Unlike many entrants who pool resources and purchase tickets as part of a group, he has always chosen to participate on his own.

He purchased his winning ticket, number 288-04229, in-store and was selected as one of the winners in the latest weekly e-draw.

Speaking after receiving the news, Nasim described the experience as “exciting and rewarding,” saying the win was a gratifying result of years of participation and patience.

Plans to grow his winnings

Rather than spending the prize right away, Nasim says he intends to take a more practical approach with his Dh25,000 windfall.

“I plan to invest the money and grow it further,” he said.

The photographer added that his recent win has strengthened his belief in the draw, and he plans to continue participating in Big Ticket in the future.

“I also intend to continue participating in Big Ticket and would encourage others to take a chance and trust the process,” Nasim said.

Dh25 million grand prize up for grabs

Nasim is among four winners from India and Bangladesh selected in Big Ticket’s second weekly e-draw of June, with each winner receiving Dh25,000.

The excitement is set to continue with Big Ticket’s live draw on July 3, when one lucky participant will have the chance to win the grand prize of Dh25 million.

In addition, five participants will each receive Dh1 million in consolation prizes, offering multiple opportunities for aspiring winners to become millionaires this summer.
