Riders from the UAE dominated the Emirates Global Endurance Series opener in France, claiming all three podium spots.

UAE riders across youth, junior, and senior categories impressed in the FEI-sanctioned opener held in France.

COMPIÈGNE, France: UAE riders delivered a dominant performance in the concluding competitions of the opening leg of the Emirates Global Endurance Village Series, held in Compiègne under the supervision of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI).

In the Emirates Global Endurance Village CEI2 120km race*, Emirati rider Salem Hamad Malhoof Al Ketbi, riding SW Kabroz, claimed victory, while Mansour Saeed Al Farsi aboard Baileys Rembrandt finished second. Fellow Emirati Issa Hamad Al Anzi secured third place on Ermine d’Artagnan. The four-phase race attracted 94 riders.

The UAE also excelled in the Emirates Global Endurance Village Youth and Juniors CEI2 120km race*, with Rashid Khalid Mohammed Abdullah aboard Baraka Unica taking first place. Jaber Badr Jaafar, riding Erada Victorias, finished second, while Lia Clerici claimed third place on Chekhov. The event featured 23 riders across four phases.

In the Emirates Global Endurance Village CEI1 100km race*, Marc Vila Sabata aboard ER Easton emerged victorious. Alec Faber riding Baileys Ringed secured second place, while Arthur Sevin finished third on Jibordic. The four-phase competition featured 19 riders.

The winners were honoured by Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, UAE Ambassador to the French Republic, in the presence of Mohammed Ali Al Hadrami, Events Director of the Emirates Global Endurance Village; Lara Sawaya, Executive Director of Sponsorship and Marketing at the Village; Bert Owais, General Manager of Camellia Flowers; representatives of Emirates Airline and EIEV PULSE; along with several sponsors and partners.

The second leg of the Emirates Global Endurance Village Series will be held in Argentina on 26 June, continuing the international endurance racing circuit.
