UAE Eid 2026 weather forecast: Rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds expected.

Date:

A polar low-pressure system is set to bring rain and unsettled weather across the UAE.

Abu Dhabi: The UAE is expected to experience partly cloudy and unsettled weather over the coming days, with scattered rain and fresh winds, according to the latest forecast.

Today (Friday), skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with a chance of rain in some areas and slightly rising temperatures. Winds are forecast to be light to moderate, occasionally strengthening, while sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf may become rough at times.

Rainfall is expected to intensify early next week. Forecasts indicate daytime temperatures could reach the mid-30s °C inland, while coastal areas may see highs in the low-30s °C, with cooler conditions in the mountainous regions.

Looking ahead to the weekend and early next week, similar weather is expected, with partly cloudy skies, convective cloud formation, and scattered rainfall in some areas. Winds may strengthen at times, causing blowing dust and reduced visibility in certain locations.

From Saturday to Tuesday, unstable conditions are likely to persist, with occasional strong winds reaching 40–45 km/h and seas turning moderate to rough at times, especially during periods of cloud activity.

Meteorological analyses indicate that a broader weather system affecting parts of the Arabian Peninsula—a low-pressure system of polar origin carrying cold, moist air—is influencing the UAE. This system is expected to increase atmospheric instability, bringing periods of thunderstorms, rainfall, and gusty winds across the country over several days.

Rainfall may intensify at times, particularly early next week, as cooler air enhances instability and supports the development of thunderclouds in various regions. Additional waves of unsettled weather could also emerge later in the week, potentially bringing more rain and strong winds.

Forecasts highlight the possibility of heavy rainfall in some areas, accompanied by thunderstorms, strong downdrafts, and rough sea conditions during periods of active weather.
