Emirates Announces Final Scheduled Flight Date Between UAE and Algeria

Date:

The airline confirmed that flights to and from Algeria are continuing as scheduled, with services currently unaffected.

Emirates confirmed on its social media channels that flights to and from Algeria are currently operating as scheduled, with services unaffected at this time.

The airline advised passengers with upcoming travel plans to proceed with their bookings as planned.

Emirates also stated that its final scheduled flight, EK757, is currently planned to depart from Algiers on February 3, 2027.

Or a slightly more concise version:

Emirates noted that flight EK757, its last scheduled service from Algiers, is set for departure on February 3, 2027.

Emirates stated that it will “fully comply with any instructions or directives issued by government authorities” and will provide timely updates to customers, employees, and partners if conditions change.

The airline also extended its apologies for any inconvenience caused and encouraged passengers affected by the termination date to explore alternative travel options through their booking agents.

This comes after a statement from the UAE on February 8 confirming that there is no immediate impact on air traffic operations, following Algeria’s announcement to terminate the Air Services Agreement between the two countries.

The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) clarified that the decision falls within international agreement frameworks and emphasized that the agreement remains valid throughout the legally required notice period. Flights between the UAE and Algeria will continue to operate normally.

The authority further noted that it is coordinating with all relevant entities through official channels, handling the matter responsibly and professionally in accordance with established legal and diplomatic procedures.

On Saturday, Algeria announced the start of the process to cancel the air services agreement signed with the UAE in Abu Dhabi in 2013, without providing an immediate explanation for the decision.
