Dubai give notice to 20 businesses for breaking Covid-19 guidelines

No fines issued yet as authorities intensify inspections in the emirate to ensure precautionary measures are being followed.

The authorities in Dubai have been urging commercial establishments to strictly follow the precautionary measures set by the health authorities to protect individuals from Covid-19.

In a tweet on its official handle, Dubai Economy has warned 20 commercial establishments for non-compliance with precautionary measures that limit the spread of Covid-19, including not placing social distancing signboards. No fines or closures were issued by the authorities, according to the field inspection report.

Overall, inspections found that 649 establishments fully complied with the precautionary measures.
