Abu Dhabi Cinemas in malls will reopen with strict guidelines

Abu Dhabi has announced the reopening of cinemas in shopping malls with precautionary measures.

A statement issued by the Abu Dhabi Media Office Monday morning outlined guidelines to resume cinema operations in shopping malls with coronavirus precautionary measures. Cinema hall should not exceed 30 per cent of capacity.

All staff members need to be tested for Covid-19 prior to resuming operations, the statement added.

‘In coordination with Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Committee for the Covid-19 Pandemic, @AbuDhabiDED issues precautionary measures for resumption of operations for cinemas inside shopping malls across #AbuDhabi. These measures include: cinema halls should not exceed 30 per cent of their capacity, applying physical distancing between visitors inside and outside cinema halls, wearing masks, and conducting Covid-19 tests for all staff members prior to resuming activity’
