Covid-19: UAE 236 new cases, 390 recoveries

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Wednesday reported 236 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 390 recoveries. This brings the total number of cases to 57,734 and the total recoveries to 50,354. One death was also announced in the country as a result of the illness, bringing the total number of deaths to 342. UAE recoveries have now crossed 50,000, with a recovery rate of 87.22 per cent compared with the global average of 60.4 per cent. Overall, nearly 4.6 million Covid-19 tests have been carried out in the UAE, and the UAE aims to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.
