Dubai T100 returns from November 13 to 15 at Al Mamzar, with spectators able to attend free of charge.

Dubai: With just 50 days to go, Dubai’s triathlon weekend is preparing to return with a new location and an expanded line-up of races.
The third edition of the Dubai T100 Triathlon Weekend will take place from November 13 to 15, moving from Meydan Racecourse to a new coastal venue at Al Mamzar. More than 2,000 athletes representing 57 nationalities have already registered, with over a third having competed in previous editions.
Spectators will be able to attend the Dubai T100 Triathlon Weekend free of charge throughout the three-day event.
The essentials
When: Friday, November 13 to Sunday, November 15
Where: Al Mamzar
Price: Free entry for spectators; amateur athletes can register for races through the official Dubai T100 website
A new distance, and relays
One of the biggest changes for amateur athletes this year is the introduction of an Olympic-distance triathlon, featuring a 1.5km swim, a 40km bike ride and a 10km run. It will be the first time the distance has been included in the Dubai T100 programme.
Relay categories have also been added for both the Olympic and Sprint distances, allowing teams of friends or colleagues to divide the swimming, cycling and running legs between them.
The new options will sit alongside the Sprint distance, comprising a 750m swim, 20km bike ride and 5km run, as well as the signature 100km race, which features a 2km swim, 80km bike ride and 18km run.
Sam Renouf, chief executive of the Professional Triathletes Organisation, said the expanded race programme is intended to make the event more accessible to a wider range of participants.
“Fifty days out, the momentum behind this year’s Dubai T100 is encouraging to see. Moving to Al Mamzar gives us a single venue for the whole weekend, and with the new Olympic distance as well as relay options for the Sprint and Olympic, there has never been an easier way into the event, whatever your level.”
An all-female professional race
Dubai’s professional race will feature an all-female field this year following changes to the T100 competition format.
Under the revised structure, male and female professionals will each compete at four individual T100 weekends before coming together for the Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final, which will take place from December 10 to 12.
Twenty of the world’s leading female professional triathletes are set to compete in Dubai, with the full line-up expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
A push to get Emirati women on the start line
The 50-day countdown coincides with Emirati Women’s Month, which runs until September 28, and organisers are using the occasion to encourage more Emirati women to take part in the event.
“Emirati Women’s Month is a celebration of what Emirati women achieve, and we’re proud to play our part,” Renouf said. “The Dubai T100 will feature 20 of the world’s best professional women racing around the city on a global broadcast feed, and we hope that inspires the next generation of Emirati women and girls to take on a challenge of their own. We’d love to see more Emirati women on the start line at Al Mamzar this November.”
The new course
The switch to Al Mamzar has also brought significant changes to the race course.
The cycling route will take athletes through Al Hamriya Port and Dubai Islands before heading onto Infinity Bridge. From there, competitors will pass Port Rashid and the Queen Elizabeth 2, with views of the Dubai Frame and Burj Khalifa in the distance, before making their way back towards Al Mamzar.
The running section will follow the shaded pathways of Al Mamzar Park and its newly opened corniche footpath.
Hosting the event at a single location also offers a practical advantage, with the T100, Olympic-distance and relay races all taking place from the same venue.
The race will be broadcast in more than 195 territories through the Professional Triathletes Organisation’s partnership with Warner Bros Discovery, including coverage on beIN Sports across the Middle East.
Part of Dubai Fitness Challenge
The race weekend will once again take place during the Dubai Fitness Challenge, the citywide 30×30 initiative encouraging residents to complete at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 days.
Running from October 31 to November 29, the Dubai Fitness Challenge will celebrate its 10th edition this year.
Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, said the Dubai T100 has established itself as a regular fixture on the city’s sporting calendar.
“Its move to Al Mamzar will showcase another distinctive side of the city to audiences around the world. As part of the tenth edition of Dubai Fitness Challenge, the event captures exactly what 30×30 stands for, a world-class sport inspiring people of all ages and abilities across Dubai to get active and take on a challenge of their own.”
Last year, for comparison
The 2025 edition, held at Meydan, attracted more than 3,000 triathletes and over 15,000 spectators throughout the weekend.
Dubai will serve as the penultimate stop on the nine-race T100 Race to Qatar series, which concludes with the season finale in December.
