Dr Mohammad Al Hasoun, specialist obstetrics and gynaecologist, said that several couples had approached the hospital and asked to book their delivery date for 20/02/2020 due to the play of the numbers 2 and 0.

Many women even said that they felt this would be a lucky day and requested us to induce labour for delivery so they could have their child’s birthday on this day.”
Dr Hasoun said all the newborns were Arabs – from the UAE, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan.
