Yaya Middle East, the UAE-based platform connecting families with nannies, maids, and domestic helpers, has launched Yaya AI, a new feature designed to help families find caregivers more quickly and receive instant guidance on the hiring process.
Now available on iOS and Android, Yaya AI introduces enhanced functionality within the Yaya app.
The first feature, “Find Your Best Match with AI,” provides AI-powered caregiver recommendations. Families looking to hire a full-time nanny, live-out maid, or part-time domestic helper can enter their requirements and browse relevant profiles.
The second feature, “Ask Yaya AI,” responds to practical questions related to hiring domestic workers in the UAE, including salaries, visas, contracts, gratuity, and public holiday entitlements. Its responses are based on Yaya’s internal knowledge base and aligned with the UAE domestic worker framework, and are available 24/7 in both English and Arabic.
“Find Your Best Match” is built around natural-language search. Instead of selecting multiple filters individually, families can simply describe the caregiver they need and receive tailored recommendations.
The feature reflects a wider shift towards conversational search, enabling users to interact with the platform as they would in everyday speech. It considers both hard requirements captured by filters—such as location, visa status, language, or driving ability—and softer qualities that are harder to quantify, such as newborn experience or a calm, warm personality.
Each recommendation includes a short, plain-language explanation of why a particular nanny or maid fits the requirements, helping families understand the reasoning behind the match rather than relying on guesswork. The system also prioritises caregivers who are active and recently reviewed, ensuring users see up-to-date and available profiles.
Unlike general-purpose chatbots, Yaya AI is grounded in live marketplace data and human-reviewed profiles, meaning its suggestions reflect real-time availability in the UAE. Every caregiver profile is vetted by the Yaya team before being listed in the app, ensuring that the shortlists presented to families are based on verified information.
Yaya was developed to make hiring a nanny in the UAE more transparent and accessible for families across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and the wider country.
Yaya AI is now available to all users via the Yaya app on both iOS and Android.
