Dubai: Fair to partly cloudy weather is expected across the UAE on Friday, with light to moderate winds and warm daytime temperatures, according to the National Centre of Meteorology. Northeasterly to northwesterly winds will blow at speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, reaching up to 30 km/h at times, while seas will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
Temperatures are forecast to climb to around 38°C in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Liwa, while Dubai and Sharjah are expected to record highs of 36°C.
Slightly cooler conditions are expected in coastal and island areas such as Al Sila and Dalma, where temperatures may peak at around 30°C. Overnight humidity levels will increase, particularly along the coast, with relative humidity reaching 80–85% in some areas.
Sea conditions are forecast to remain calm, with slight waves in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea. In the Arabian Gulf, high tide is expected later in the evening, with low tide around midday, while the Oman Sea will see two high tides and two low tides throughout the day.
Weather conditions are expected to remain largely stable through Saturday, with fair to partly cloudy skies and light to moderate winds continuing across the UAE.
A gradual change is likely from Sunday, with increased cloud cover expected, especially over islands and coastal areas, along with a noticeable rise in temperatures. Winds may strengthen at times, reaching up to 35 km/h, with northwesterly to southwesterly winds prevailing. Sea conditions could turn slight to moderate in exposed areas, making conditions slightly more unsettled compared to earlier in the weekend.
By Monday, fair to partly cloudy weather will continue, with intermittent clouds and moderate winds. Wind speeds may again reach up to 35 km/h at times, while seas are expected to return to slight conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
