NCM Forecasts Convective Clouds Over Eastern and Southern UAE Areas by Afternoon.
Dubai: Temperatures across the UAE are expected to climb to 45°C on Tuesday, while fog and mist could develop overnight and convective clouds may form over eastern and southern parts of the country, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The weather is forecast to remain generally fair to partly cloudy, with cloud cover increasing over eastern and southern areas and potentially becoming convective during the afternoon.
Humidity levels are also expected to rise overnight and into Wednesday morning, particularly across some coastal and inland areas, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist formation.
Inland areas are expected to experience the highest temperatures, with daytime readings ranging between 41°C and 45°C and overnight lows of around 26°C to 30°C.
Coastal areas and islands are forecast to see maximum temperatures of between 38°C and 42°C, while the country’s mountainous regions will remain relatively cooler, with temperatures ranging from 30°C to 35°C.
Winds are expected to remain light to moderate, occasionally strengthening, and will blow from the southeast to northeast at speeds of 10 to 25kph, with gusts reaching up to 35kph across coastal, inland and mountainous areas. Sea conditions are forecast to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
On Wednesday, the weather will remain generally fair to partly cloudy, with clouds expected to develop over eastern parts of the country during the afternoon. Humid conditions overnight and into Thursday morning could also lead to the formation of fog or mist across some coastal and inland areas.
Fair to partly cloudy conditions are expected to persist across the UAE through Saturday. Humidity is forecast to increase during the night, bringing a possibility of mist forming over some coastal areas during the early morning hours.
