Forecast indicates high humidity and patchy mist expected over coastal areas in the lead-up to Eid celebrations.

Abu Dhabi: The UAE is expected to experience another hot and humid week, with temperatures rising further as Eid Al Adha approaches on Wednesday. Coastal areas are likely to see persistent humidity and early morning mist, especially overnight into Wednesday, according to the National Center of Meteorology.
Temperatures are forecast to vary widely across the UAE, ranging from 42°C to 47°C in inland areas, while coastal and island regions are expected to see highs between 36°C and 43°C. In contrast, mountainous areas will remain relatively cooler, with temperatures between 30°C and 36°C.
Winds are expected to remain light to moderate, occasionally freshening, with speeds ranging between 10 and 25 km/h and gusts reaching up to 35 km/h. Sea conditions are forecast to stay slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
The National Center of Meteorology added that temperatures will continue to rise on Wednesday, the first day of Eid Al Adha, with generally fair weather conditions prevailing across the country.Humidity levels are expected to stay elevated during the night and early morning hours through Thursday and Friday in some coastal areas, increasing the chance of mist formation at dawn.
By Friday, conditions are likely to remain generally fair, with moderate northwesterly winds and temperatures holding at typical summer levels. A slight dip in temperatures is expected by Saturday, though overall weather across the UAE should remain stable.
This outlook comes as the country experiences one of its hottest periods of the year so far, with summer conditions intensifying ahead of the official seasonal transition in late June.
