Fair skies are expected to give way to stronger winds and dusty conditions across the UAE in the coming days.

The UAE is expected to experience generally fair weather over the coming days, with a gradual increase in winds and dusty conditions forecast towards the weekend, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

Today, conditions will be fair to partly cloudy at times, with light to moderate north-westerly winds shifting to south-easterly and strengthening at intervals, reaching speeds of up to 35 km/h. Seas are expected to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.

A slight and gradual drop in temperatures is expected on Friday, while winds are forecast to strengthen, particularly over sea areas, reaching speeds of up to 40 km/h. Conditions in the Arabian Gulf may become rough at times.

Dusty conditions are expected on Saturday and Sunday, with blowing sand likely to reduce visibility in exposed areas as winds strengthen. Sea conditions are forecast to range from moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf, and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
