Istanbul–Dubai flights return as Turkish Airlines restores its air links with the UAE.

Dubai: Turkish Airlines has announced that it will resume its Istanbul–Dubai flights from June 8, restoring a key air connection between Turkey and the UAE.

In a statement shared on social media, Turkish Ambassador to the UAE Lutfullah Goktas said that Turkish Airlines would be “meeting in the skies over the United Arab Emirates in June,” expressing enthusiasm about reconnecting with passengers in the country.

“We are delighted to share this important development with our brothers and sisters in the UAE and our dear citizens living there. Hello again, UAE!” he said.

The resumed Istanbul–Dubai route is expected to improve connectivity for both business and leisure travellers between the two major aviation hubs of Istanbul and Dubai.

The announcement comes ahead of the Eid Al Adha holiday period, when travel demand in the UAE typically rises as residents plan overseas vacations and family visits. Airlines and travel operators expect a significant surge in passenger traffic during the festive break, with Turkey remaining a popular destination for UAE travellers.
