Abu Dhabi emphasizes the importance of protecting embassies and personnel amid escalating regional tensions.

ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the terrorist attack targeting the premises of Israel’s Consulate in Istanbul.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) reiterated the UAE’s categorical rejection of such attacks and emphasized the importance of safeguarding diplomatic premises, missions, and personnel in accordance with international law, including the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, which guarantees the inviolability of diplomatic sites and the protection of staff.
The Ministry also condemned these criminal acts and reaffirmed its permanent rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism that threaten security and stability, in violation of international law.
