The UAE has also been lifting rules as the country cautiously emerges from the pandemic. Capacity limits at cinemas, shopping centres and other entertainment spots and venues across the UAE, for example, are allowed to return to full capacity for the first time in 18 months.
Restrictions were first announced in early 2020 due to Covid-19.
However, people must still wear a mask in all indoor and outdoor public places nationwide.
Authorities also announced that 21,696 Covid-19 vaccine doses were given in the past 24 hours.
The UAE has now reached 100 per cent of the eligible population with one dose, while 95.41 per cent are fully vaccinated.
