UAE prepares for unsettled weather with forecasts of rain, thunderstorms, and hail.

Date:

Cloudy conditions are expected to continue, with rain likely in eastern regions.

Abu Dhabi: The UAE is forecast to face a spell of unstable weather from Saturday through March 27, with rain of varying intensity expected across multiple areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

The National Centre of Meteorology stated that clouds moving in from the west will trigger the formation of convective cloud systems over scattered areas at intervals throughout the week.

These conditions are expected to produce rainfall varying from light to heavy at times, accompanied by lightning and thunder, with hail possible in limited areas—especially during periods of intense cloud activity.

Forecasts indicate that Saturday will bring light to moderate rainfall across several regions, turning heavy at times over northern and eastern areas, as well as Al Ain during the daytime.

Similar conditions are expected on Sunday, with convective cloud formation producing rain of varying intensity, particularly over northern and eastern regions and Al Ain.

The unsettled weather is expected to continue into Monday and Tuesday, with widespread cloud build-up and scattered rain of varying intensity across the country.

On Wednesday, cloud cover is forecast to persist, with rain likely in some northern and eastern areas.

From Thursday through next Saturday, the National Centre of Meteorology anticipates further development of convective clouds over scattered regions, bringing rain of varying intensity as the country remains under the influence of the unstable weather system.
