Partial name fuels speculation about a second Indian winner, following Anilkumar Bolla’s Dh100 million jackpot.

Dubai: The UAE Lottery has started July with its second-ever Dh30 million Grand Prize winner, with an early clue on the operator’s website already fuelling speculation over the identity of the new multi-millionaire.
The second Dh30 million winner emerged in the Wednesday draw on July 1.
In Lucky Day Draw No. 260701, the winning Days numbers were 9, 1, 15, 20, 19, and 25, while the winning Months number was 6.
One lucky participant matched all seven numbers to claim the jackpot.
The operator has released the winner’s first name as SunilkuS, using the same partial disclosure format it previously used for the UAE’s first Dh30 million Lucky Day winner just weeks earlier.

The masked name strongly suggests “Sunilkumar,” a name commonly associated with Indian expatriates in the UAE, prompting speculation that another Indian resident may have won the jackpot, months after an Indian IT professional became the UAE Lottery’s Dh100 million winner in 2025.
Regular participants have also taken to social media to question whether the latest winner is once again from India.
First name reveal
The UAE Lottery typically releases only partial identities of major winners initially, with full names and personal stories disclosed at a later stage.
It followed the same pattern used earlier, when the lottery first revealed the country’s inaugural Dh30 million winner as Tayab K**, weeks before his full identity was confirmed. A similar disclosure approach was also used when Anilkumar Bolla won the Dh100 million Grand Prize in the earlier lottery format.
If the pattern continues, the full name, nationality, and background of SunilkuS are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
Whether the latest winner is another Indian expat following in Bolla’s footsteps or someone from a different background remains to be seen.
Wednesday’s other winners
While SunilkuS claimed the Dh30 million top prize, the Dh5 million second prize went unclaimed and will roll over into the next draw.
Two participants also won Dh100,000 each in the third prize category after matching five Days numbers along with the single winning Months number.
Their first names were revealed as KatheriC and Annie V**.

Three additional players won the guaranteed Dh50,000 Lucky Chance ID prize. The winning IDs were BX4872387, BV4695094, and BW743599.
First Dh30m winner
Wednesday’s win marks only the second time the Dh30 million Grand Prize has been claimed since the lottery format was revamped in late 2025, when the earlier Dh100 million jackpot was replaced with a smaller but more frequently awarded Dh30 million prize given twice a week.
The first winner under the new format was initially listed as Tayab K** on the lottery’s website on May 28, after winning Lucky Day Draw No. 260527, held on the first day of Eid Al Adha, April 27. His full identity was later confirmed on June 2 as Tayab Khan, a Nepal-based resident of Abu Dhabi.
Days later, the story took a surprising turn when it emerged that Khan, a 26-year-old security guard who had worked in the Ruwais Industrial Area for four years, did not win alone. He shared the Dh30 million prize with four close friends, forming a group called the “Future Millionaires” that pooled money and took turns selecting numbers. Each member received Dh6 million.
Khan later told he planned to leave his security job, buy a Mahindra Thar and a Rolex, build a family home in Nepal, and invest in a Dubai apartment as he considers moving into entrepreneurship.
