Ethiopia commends UAE for contributions to regional security and collaboration.
ABU DHABI: Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defence, Interior, and Foreign Affairs Committee at the Federal National Council (FNC), received Jamal Beker Abdula, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, on Monday in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting covered the strategic partnership between the UAE and Ethiopia, key regional developments, and the UAE’s efforts to safeguard security and promote stability, guided by the visionary approach of the nation’s leadership.
Both sides stressed the importance of political solutions to regional crises and praised the efficiency of Emirati agencies and their advanced defensive capabilities in protecting national security and ensuring the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors.
The Ethiopian Ambassador expressed appreciation for the strong cooperation and partnership with the UAE, highlighting its steadfast commitment to supporting regional and international security and peace.
He reiterated Ethiopia’s complete support for the UAE in defending its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
