New partnership provides legal, corporate and advisory support for companies expanding into new markets.

GUANGZHOU: A UAE corporate services provider, a UAE-based law firm and a prominent Chinese legal practice have formed a strategic partnership to enhance cross-border business, investment and advisory support between the Middle East and East Asia.

The Corporate Group (TCG), Ahmed AlRaeesi Advocates & Legal Consultants, and Win Long Guangdong Law Firm (WLG) have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) to help businesses navigate market entry, corporate structuring, regulatory requirements and expansion opportunities across the UAE, GCC and China.

The agreement was signed in Guangzhou, China, by Ayman Al Awadhi, Group Managing Director of The Corporate Group, and Prof. Mao Delong, Chairman of Group Management at Win Long Guangdong Law Firm.

The partnership comes amid expanding economic ties, trade activity and investment flows between the GCC and China, driving greater demand for specialised legal, corporate and compliance services for companies operating across both markets.

Under the cooperation framework, the three parties will collaborate to offer businesses integrated support across areas such as company formation, corporate structuring, market entry planning, regulatory compliance, business advisory services and cross-border expansion.

The partnership aims to serve a broad range of clients, including startups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), investors and multinational companies looking to establish or expand their operations in the UAE, the wider GCC region and China.

Building a UAE-China business bridge

Prof. Mao Delong, Chairman of Group Management at Win Long Guangdong Law Firm, said the collaboration would help strengthen confidence among companies pursuing international expansion.

“Entering new markets across regions such as China and the Middle East requires strong legal certainty and in-depth local expertise,” he said.

Prof. Mao Delong said the partnership combines TCG’s corporate solutions with WLG’s legal expertise to create a stronger platform for businesses seeking to expand between China and the Middle East.

“By bringing together TCG’s market-focused corporate services and WLG’s legal capabilities, we are building more than a partnership — we are creating a trusted pathway for sustainable trade, corporate investment and long-term cross-border collaboration between China and the Middle East,” he said.

Ayman Al Awadhi, Group Managing Director of The Corporate Group, said entering new markets is a crucial phase in a company’s growth and requires reliable institutional support.

“Institutional trust plays a vital role in achieving success. Together with WLG and Ahmed AlRaeesi Advocates, The Corporate Group is creating a secure, end-to-end ecosystem for global founders and multinational companies,” he said.

“This alliance will help accelerate market entry through strategic advisory services, corporate structuring solutions, business incubation opportunities, access to government support and comprehensive legal compliance assistance.”

Ahmed AlRaeesi, Founder and CEO of Ahmed AlRaeesi Advocates, said companies expanding between the UAE and China need legal support that blends commercial insight with a strong understanding of local regulatory frameworks.

“Businesses entering the UAE and Chinese markets require legal guidance that is practical, tailored to each jurisdiction and aligned with their wider strategic goals,” he said.

“Through this collaboration, we aim to help clients manage corporate, commercial and regulatory challenges more efficiently by working with trusted advisers across both markets.”

Creating a UAE–Greater China legal and services platform

Brent Yap Hon Yean, Deputy Director of Foreign Law Practice at Win Long Guangdong Law Firm, said the agreement represents a significant step towards deepening professional cooperation between the UAE and China.

“Today marks an important milestone in UAE–China relations as all parties come together to sign this significant memorandum of understanding,” he said.

“This agreement marks the start of a strategic collaboration that we hope will serve as the foundation for what we proudly envision as the ‘UAE–Greater China Legal and Services Platform.’

Yap said the initiative was shaped by his experience handling cross-border matters involving the Middle East and Asia.

“The expanding economic partnership between China, Greater China and the UAE — the Middle East’s leading financial hub — calls for a stronger and more structured professional ecosystem to support businesses operating across these regions,” he added.

The collaboration will also benefit from Yap’s experience in advising on transactions, investments and business ventures linking the Middle East and Asia-Pacific markets.

The three organisations plan to introduce joint events, knowledge-sharing initiatives and business development programmes in the coming months to further assist companies exploring opportunities across both regions.
