UAE and Saudi defence ministers meet to discuss regional escalation and attacks on their countries

Dubai: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence of the UAE, held a phone call on Thursday with Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defence of Saudi Arabia.

During the call, the leaders discussed recent developments in the region and the attacks targeting the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and several other brotherly nations over the past few days.

The incidents were strongly condemned, with both sides describing them as a clear violation of international law and the sovereignty, security, and safety of nations. They emphasized that such acts have serious implications for regional and international stability.

The leaders also affirmed that their countries reserve the right to take all necessary measures to protect their capabilities and ensure the safety and security of all residents in both nations.
