UAE Aid to Gaza Exceeds 136,000 Tonnes Under Operation Gallant Knight 3

Date:

Operation Gallant Knight 3 Marks Three Years of Humanitarian Support for Palestinians.

The UAE has delivered 136,891 tonnes of humanitarian assistance to Gaza through 14,442 trucks since the launch of Operation Gallant Knight 3, as the relief mission nears its third anniversary.

Figures released by the operation highlight the scale of UAE humanitarian support provided to Palestinians through land, air and sea routes, alongside extensive medical, water and community assistance.

By the end of September, aid transported by truck included food supplies, shelter materials and other essential items intended to support families affected by the conflict.

More than 294,000 medical cases treated

Healthcare has been a major component of Operation Gallant Knight 3, with 294,577 medical cases treated through the UAE-supported healthcare network.

The UAE Floating Hospital in Al Arish, Egypt, has received 35,030 patients and injured people from Gaza since operations began.

Patients have undergone medical assessments and received treatment and specialised care according to their individual health needs.

A further 198 amputees have been provided with prosthetic limbs through the “A Step of Hope” programme, which is designed to help people with serious injuries restore mobility and regain greater independence.

Operation Gallant Knight 3 has also supplied 50 water tankers to support the transportation and distribution of water to communities across Gaza.

Aid delivered by air and sea

The UAE has operated 778 humanitarian flights through its air bridge as part of efforts to deliver essential assistance to Palestinians.

Aid has also been transported by sea, with 25 ships used for humanitarian deliveries. Of these, 13 departed from ports in the UAE, three from Al Arish in Egypt and nine from Cyprus.

The “Birds of Goodness” initiative has meanwhile completed 81 airdrop operations, helping deliver assistance to areas where access by road was difficult.

A total of 218 aircraft participated in the airdrop missions, delivering 4,076 tonnes of food and other relief supplies.

Supporting Palestinian families

The UAE’s humanitarian assistance has extended beyond the delivery of food, healthcare and other essential supplies.

During the first half of 2026, Operation Gallant Knight 3 supported collective wedding celebrations involving 408 Palestinian grooms, with more than 30,000 people attending the events.

The initiative was aimed at supporting young Palestinians beginning married life and establishing families amid difficult conditions in Gaza.

A total of 19 UAE humanitarian and charitable organisations have participated in Operation Gallant Knight 3, contributing assistance across areas including food, healthcare, shelter, water and other essential needs.

Since its launch in response to the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Operation Gallant Knight 3 has continued to provide assistance to Palestinians through multiple channels.

The operation has used land convoys, medical facilities, air and maritime bridges, as well as airdrop missions, to deliver humanitarian supplies and services to communities across Gaza.
