Travelling during Eid Al Adha? Dubai Metro timings, free parking, and everything you need to know.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced holiday service timings, including updates for paid parking zones, public buses, and other transport services.

As Dubai prepares for the Eid Al Adha holiday, authorities have announced special transport arrangements to ensure smooth travel for residents and visitors during the festive break.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has outlined service timings for the holiday period across Customer Happiness Centres, paid parking zones, public buses, the Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transport, and Service Provider Centres (vehicle testing facilities).

Public parking will be free of charge from Monday, May 25, 2026, to Friday, May 29, 2026, with the exception of multi-storey parking facilities.

Dubai Metro

Dubai Metro Red and Green Lines will operate on the following schedule:

  • Saturday: 5am to 1am (next day)
  • Sunday: 8am to 1am (next day)
  • Monday to Saturday: 5am to 1am (next day)

Passengers travelling to the airport are advised to use the Dubai Metro for a faster and smoother journey via Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 stations.

Dubai Bus

RTA has announced temporary changes to selected intercity bus routes from May 23 to 31.

  • Bus Route E100 will not operate from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station during this period. Travellers to Abu Dhabi are advised to use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station instead.
  • Route E102 will run from Al Jafiliya Station to Zayed International Airport only, without stops at Ibn Battuta or Musaffah Shabiya stations.
  • For updated bus timings during Eid Al Adha, passengers are advised to use the S’hail app.

Dubai Tram

Dubai Tram will operate as follows:

  • Saturday: 6am to 1am (next day)
  • Sunday: 9am to 1am (next day)
  • Monday to Saturday: 6am to 1am (next day)

Customer Happiness Centres

All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed during the Eid holiday. However, the Umm Ramool centre and Smart Kiosks in Deira, Al Barsha, Al Tawar, Al Kifaf, and RTA Headquarters will remain operational 24/7.

Vehicle Testing Centres

Service Provider Centres for vehicle testing will be closed from Tuesday, May 26 to Friday, May 29, 2026, and will resume operations on Saturday, May 30 as per the approved schedule.

Marine Transport

For marine transport timings during the Eid Al Adha holiday, passengers are advised to scan the QR code provided.
