In an advisory issued Tuesday, the embassy advised citizens to stay home from the evening of April 7 until the morning of April 8 as a precautionary measure to ensure their safety.

“In urgent cases, the embassy encourages contacting the emergency hotline (0096597953833). May God protect everyone,” the diplomatic mission posted on X.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has advised citizens and residents to stay indoors and leave their homes only for urgent necessities, as a precaution to ensure public safety.

The advisory is in effect from midnight Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Authorities stated that the measure is intended to protect the public, strengthen preventive precautions, and allow security forces to perform their duties effectively during the specified period.
