The Dubai Comedy Festival 2026 is set to make a return, with organisers announcing the event dates, venue details, and what audiences can look forward to in the upcoming edition.

Date:

Think of this as your reminder that serotonin can, quite literally, be scheduled ahead of time.

Laughter might as well be on prescription—and Dubai seems to agree.

The Dubai Comedy Festival is officially set to return in 2026, turning October into a 10-day comedy celebration from October 9 to 18. Think of it as your yearly reminder that happiness can, quite literally, be scheduled in advance.

As for the lineup, details are still under wraps for now. But anticipation is part of the experience.

The festival is expected to feature more than 50 comedians across 40+ shows spread over three venues, promising a packed programme where laughter may end up being the most intense workout of all.

Last year’s lineup raised the standard significantly, featuring big crowd favourites such as Tom Segura, Joanne McNally, Morgan Jay, Zakir Khan, and Mo Amer.

Family-friendly performances also had a strong presence, with acts like Tape Face, MUSH, 101 Ways to Annoy Your Parents and Other Really Old People, and Con Coutis showing that comedy can be just as entertaining for younger audiences, turning chaos into a genuinely all-ages experience.

Where is it happening?

In true Dubai style, the festival spreads its energy across multiple top-tier entertainment venues.

In previous editions, shows were hosted at major locations including Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai Opera, and the New Covent Garden Theatre at Mall of the Emirates.

For the 2026 edition, the venues haven’t been officially confirmed yet, but they are expected to follow the same pattern—well-known, high-capacity entertainment spaces across the city.

As for the lineup, it’s still under wraps for now, with more details expected to be announced closer to the event.
