A generous gesture by the Ruler
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, made a big announcement on New Year’s Eve on Tuesday.
The Ruler ordered the promotion of 5,257 senior officers, non-commissioned officers and individuals working for Dubai Police, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs Dubai and the Dubai Civil Defence.
The directive, issued before the beginning of the New Year 2020, includes promotions of 4,373 members of the Dubai Police, 540 members of the GDRFA Dubai and 344 members of the Dubai Civil Defence Dubai.
