Dubai: Spring is in full bloom, and for families planning a trip to Abu Dhabi this week, SeaWorld Yas Island has the perfect excuse.
The park’s second annual SeaBloom Celebration runs daily until 26 April. This year, it features a brand-new live show, adorable baby animals, and plenty of activities to keep visitors entertained all day.
What’s new for 2026
The highlight this year is a new live show in the One Ocean realm, where SeaWorld’s beloved characters don their spring outfits to showcase the renewed energy beneath the waves. The performance is followed by meet-and-greet sessions, a particular favourite among younger guests.
Meanwhile, in the Abu Dhabi Ocean, visitors can admire stunning sand art sculptures depicting the journey of a sea turtle, setting the perfect tone for a celebration inspired by marine life and the natural world.
Baby animals steal the show
One of the most delightful aspects of SeaBloom this year is getting up close with some of SeaWorld’s newest arrivals:
- Antarctica – meet the newly hatched penguin chicks
- Tropical Ocean – spot newborn tropical birds in the aviary
- Rocky Point – catch a glimpse of the sea lion pup
Each encounter is accompanied by SeaWorld’s on-site educators, who share fascinating facts and answer questions, transforming a fun day out into a memorable and educational experience.
The scavenger booklet returns
The SeaBloom Curiosities Booklet is back for another year, inviting young explorers to journey through all eight of the park’s realms to uncover hidden animal secrets and collect eight colourful stickers along the way. Completing the booklet rewards children with a special surprise, motivating even the most easily distracted visitors to finish the challenge.
The booklet is priced at Dh20, with a discounted rate available for Annual Passholders.

The SeaBloom Celebration runs daily from 10am to 6pm until 26 April at SeaWorld Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, the world’s largest indoor marine life theme park.
Tickets and passes
- Single-Day Ticket: From Dh375 for adults and Dh290 for juniors.
- Multi-Park Passes: Yas Island offers “2-Park,” “3-Park,” and “4-Park” passes starting at Dh475, granting access to other attractions such as Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World.
