Saudi Arabia reports 10 deaths, 2,039 new coronavirus cases.

Total number of COVID-19 cases in Saudi Arabia is now 46,869.

Dubai: Saudi Arabia reported 2, 039 new coronavirus cases and 10 new deaths on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases in the Kingdom to 46,869, and death toll to 283.

The Saudi Ministry of Health said 75 per cent of the newly detected COVID-19 patients are men, while 25 per cent are women.

A total of 1,429 COVID-19 patients have fully recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 19,051, Dr. Mohammad Al Abdul Ali, Health Ministry Spokesperson said.

Among the total cases of confirmed infections are 156 people who are in critical condition receiving intensive health care.

Dr. Al Abdul Ali said that there has been a rise in the number of infected cases among females and children, and all are linked to social gatherings.
