Salik to introduce cashless parking payment services at Dubai Harbour.

Date:

A new agreement with Shamal will enable motorists to pay parking fees using their Salik accounts at Dubai Harbour’s new 845-space multi-storey car park.

Salik has partnered with Shamal to introduce seamless parking payments at Dubai Harbour’s new multi-storey Harbour West Car Park, allowing motorists to settle parking fees directly through their Salik accounts without the need for tickets, cash or conventional payment methods.

Effective July 13, the agreement will enable Salik to provide its digital payment solution at the new facility in collaboration with Parkonic, marking a continued expansion of the toll operator’s services beyond traditional road toll collection.

The nine-storey car park features 845 parking spaces across a total built-up area of 31,487 square metres, including rooftop parking facilities. The facility is designed to serve Dubai Harbour and surrounding destinations such as Dubai Marina, Marina Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), Dubai Media City and Dubai Internet City.

Expanding Salik’s digital ecosystem

Salik said the integration is expected to streamline vehicle entry and exit, improve traffic movement, reduce delays and enhance the overall customer experience by removing traditional payment procedures.

Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, Chief Executive Officer of Salik, said the partnership represents another milestone in the company’s evolution into a wider mobility and digital payments platform.

“As Dubai continues to develop as a global destination, we remain focused on expanding Salik’s services across key locations and strategic assets, providing smarter and more seamless solutions that improve the customer experience,” he said.

Supporting smarter mobility

Abdulla Binhabtoor, Chief Executive Officer of Shamal, said the integration of Salik’s payment technology at Dubai Harbour would enhance the visitor experience while contributing to the destination’s smart infrastructure.

The companies said the partnership supports Dubai’s vision of becoming one of the world’s most connected and intelligent cities, while advancing Salik’s strategy to expand its digital payment ecosystem across transport services and smart parking solutions.
