Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan led the UAE delegation at the emergency meeting of GCC Interior Ministers held in Riyadh.

The meeting, chaired by the Kingdom of Bahrain, brought together GCC Interior Ministers along with Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi.

He affirmed that the UAE’s participation reflects its firm commitment to the principle that GCC security is indivisible, and that any threat to a member state affects the stability and security of the entire region.

He also stressed that, under the directives of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE remains committed to strengthening national security, protecting its achievements, reinforcing internal cohesion, and countering all attempts to undermine the security and stability of GCC member states.

The Minister also reaffirmed the UAE’s firm stance against Iranian activities aimed at destabilising GCC societies through hostile and subversive means, describing them as clear violations of international law and internationally accepted norms and values.
