Teams at Abu Dhabi Customs have thwarted an attempt to smuggle 40 kilograms of marijuana into the country at one of its points.

The administration at Abu Dhabi Customs praised the inspectors for their excellent skills, adding that they protected the country from the dangers of smuggling.

They also said in a press statement that experienced inspectors often carried out training sessions on detecting illegal properties and body language, in a bid to improve the skills of newer officers.
