One of Dubai’s most popular outdoor attractions has announced that it is hosting a special celebration ahead of Hag Al Laila.

Global Village is going all out for the traditional Emirati celebration between Saturday January 31 and Tuesday February 3.

The park will host a spectacular fireworks show on Saturday at 9pm at, of course, Fireworks Avenue but you’ll be able to see the display all throughout the park.

And the following night, there will also be a special Hag Al Laila-themed drone show taking to the skies at 9.05pm.

In keeping with the celebration of generosity, Global Village will also hand out free sweets to kids across the four days of festivities. Hag Al Laila traditionally sees kids visiting neighbours and singing songs before receiving sweets.

Visitors can also expect an authentic Emirati atmosphere during the four-day celebration. There will be heritage decorations and a majlis for visitors to check out.

If you’re heading along with kids, then they’ll be able to take part in some fun creative workshops and traditional activities.

The much-loved outdoor attraction proudly features more than 3,500 shopping outlets, over 250 dining options, more than 40,500 shows, and more than 200 rides, games and attractions.

Season 30 is once again hosting 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures from around the world, representing the population of Dubai.
