KUWAIT: The Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery, operated by the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), was struck by drone attacks in the early hours of Friday, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said in a statement.

According to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the attacks triggered fires in several refinery units, but preliminary assessments indicate that no injuries were reported.

Emergency response and firefighting teams were immediately dispatched to the site and are continuing efforts to control the situation, adhering to the highest safety standards.

As a precaution, several refinery units were shut down, and all necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of personnel and the security of the facility.
