Currently, only Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways are authorised to operate flights.

Kuwait’s Civil Aviation Authority has urged travellers not to book tickets with airlines that are not officially authorised to operate in the country, citing the need to protect passengers’ rights and regulate air traffic operations.
The authority’s spokesperson, Abdullah Al Rajhi, said in a statement carried by the state news agency KUNA that only Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways are currently authorised to operate flights, while other airlines have yet to obtain the required approvals to serve Kuwait International Airport.
Al Rajhi said that passengers who have booked tickets or completed transactions with unauthorised airlines can file complaints through the government’s Sahel app, enabling the authorities to take appropriate action against the offending airlines.
He added that legal action would be taken against airlines found in violation, in accordance with applicable regulations.
He also said the Sahel app is the government’s official digital platform for submitting and tracking complaints related to airlines and travel agencies, noting that it helps protect passenger rights and streamlines the follow-up and resolution process by the relevant authorities.
