Kuwait Airways Announces Return of Istanbul Route with Dammam Stop from April 1

Saudi Arabia Visa Support Offered for Passengers with Confirmed Flights.

The Kuwait Airways Corporation announced it will resume commercial flights between Kuwait and Istanbul, Turkey, with a stopover at Saudi Arabia’s Dammam Airport starting April 1. Two weekly flights will operate on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Acting CEO Abdulwahab Al-Shatti told KUNA that KAC continues to operate efficiently, adopting a flexible approach to meet evolving operational demands and ensure smooth passenger services.

The airline has made arrangements to accommodate travel bookings and serve designated routes.

KAC also provides visa application services for residents traveling to Saudi Arabia, as long as they hold confirmed flight bookings. Royal and Business Class passengers can use the airline’s limousine service to and from Al Khiran Mall, while Economy Class passengers can access the service at set rates.

Passengers can check in at the Al Khiran Mall lounge 24 hours before departure, with buses to the land border departing eight hours prior to flights.

Passengers travelling by private vehicle can complete travel procedures at Al Khiran Mall or at KAC’s Sabah Al-Salem sales office, with baggage check-in available at Dammam Airport three hours before departure. Final check-in must be completed one hour prior to takeoff.
