Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Interior has urged visitors planning to purchase and license firearms at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026 to submit their applications in advance through the ministry’s website or smart application.
Scheduled to take place from August 28 to September 6, the exhibition will require all firearm purchase and licensing applications to be completed electronically before visitors attend the event, the ministry said.
Under the licensing rules, UAE citizens applying for firearm licences must be at least 21 years old. Non-UAE nationals must submit a no-objection certificate issued by the relevant authorities in their home country and authenticated by their country’s embassy in the UAE.
The ministry advised prospective buyers to confirm that they meet all licensing conditions and complete the application process through its official digital platforms before the exhibition begins.
