IndiGo has suspended its flights to Kuwait until June 4 due to the closure of airspace.

All Kuwait-bound routes have been suspended as the airline cited safety concerns following the airspace shutdown.

Dubai: Indian carrier IndiGo has suspended its flights to and from Kuwait after the ongoing closure of Kuwaiti airspace, the airline said in a travel advisory posted on its official X account.

According to the advisory, all IndiGo flights to and from Kuwait have been suspended until 1200 hrs on June 4, 2026. The airline said the decision was taken as a precautionary measure, with the safety and well-being of passengers and crew as its top priority.

IndiGo added that it understands the disruption to travel plans and expressed regret for the inconvenience. The airline also said it is in close coordination with the relevant aviation authorities and is closely monitoring the situation.

Flight services will resume as soon as conditions permit and safe operating corridors become available, the airline said.

Passengers have been advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport. Those affected can visit the airline’s website to explore available options, including rebooking assistance or a full refund.

The airline thanked customers for their patience and understanding, adding that it remains committed to providing all possible support during this period.
