Indian Expat in Ajman Wins Big Ticket Gold Bar Prize with Randomly Chosen Ticket

Date:

After Three Years of Trying His Luck, He Finally Wins in October’s Big Ticket E-Draw.

Dubai: An Indian expatriate residing in Ajman has struck gold after winning a 200-gram, 24-karat gold bar in Big Ticket’s second weekly electronic draw for October.

Brijaesh Madambi Bhaskaran, a 44-year-old businessman originally from Kerala, India, has been living in Ajman while his family continues to reside in his home country.

Bhaskaran first came across Big Ticket on social media approximately three years ago. Since then, he has regularly participated in the draws, hoping that one day his ticket would turn out to be a winner.

Randomly Chosen Ticket Brings Unexpected Win

For his latest attempt, Bhaskaran teamed up with five friends to purchase a ticket, which the group selected completely at random.

Their decision unexpectedly paid off when the ticket secured a 200-gram gold bar, leaving the group delighted and surprised.

“I was so happy when I found out that we had won. I honestly couldn’t believe it at first, especially since we had selected the ticket randomly. It was such a wonderful surprise for all of us,” Bhaskaran said.

The gold prize will be divided among the six friends, although Bhaskaran has not yet decided what he intends to do with his portion.

Despite finally securing a win after years of participation, the group is already looking forward to trying its luck again.

“We’ll definitely take part again as a group and hopefully have another reason to celebrate in the future,” he added.

Three More Participants Win Gold Bars

Bhaskaran was among four lucky participants who secured gold prizes during Big Ticket’s October weekly e-draws.

The other winners include Manikanta Adabala, a 33-year-old service engineer from Andhra Pradesh, India, who has been living in Dubai with his family for the past four years.

Another winner is Aloha Abelgas, an assistant manager from the Philippines.

Jonathan Javed, a Pakistani expatriate who has been residing in Abu Dhabi for nearly a decade, was also among the winners.

Each of the four participants received a 200-gram gold bar made of 24-karat gold.

Dh25 Million Grand Prize Draw Scheduled for November 3

Alongside its weekly gold giveaways, Big Ticket’s October promotional campaign features a grand prize worth Dh25 million.

The winner of the multimillion-dirham prize is scheduled to be revealed during a live draw on November 3.
