Hot and dusty conditions are expected over the weekend in the UAE, with temperatures rising to around 42°C.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast strong winds, blowing dust, and hazy skies across parts of the UAE.

Fair skies and warm conditions are expected across the UAE on Friday, with higher temperatures in inland areas and the possibility of blowing dust due to fresh winds, according to the National Center of Meteorology (UAE).

The NCM said the weather will generally remain fair, with light to moderate northwesterly to southwesterly winds becoming occasionally active during the day. Wind speeds are expected to range between 10 and 25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h in exposed areas.

Temperatures are expected to peak at around 42°C in Al Ain and Liwa, while Abu Dhabi is forecast to reach 38°C and Dubai around 36°C.

Humidity levels are expected to increase overnight and into Saturday morning, particularly across coastal areas.

Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are expected to range from moderate to rough at times, while the Oman Sea is likely to remain slight to moderate.

The weather is expected to stay largely stable over the weekend, although hazier conditions may develop from Sunday, along with a slight drop in temperatures, especially in western parts of the country.

According to the forecast issued by the National Center of Meteorology (UAE), Saturday is expected to remain generally fair, with low clouds forming over the eastern coast by night. Temperatures may rise slightly, while winds shifting from northwesterly to southeasterly could occasionally strengthen, reaching speeds of up to 35 km/h.

On Sunday, intermittent hazy conditions are expected, along with a slight drop in temperatures, particularly in western areas. Winds are forecast to intensify further, with gusts reaching up to 40 km/h, which may lead to blowing dust and sand in open areas. Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are also expected to become moderate to rough.

By Monday, temperatures are likely to dip slightly again under generally fair but hazy skies. Fresh northwesterly to southwesterly winds may continue to lift dust, while rough sea conditions are expected at times in the Arabian Gulf and later extending into the Oman Sea by evening.
