GTA 6 extended look hits Netflix first: UAE release time confirmed.

After years of leaked maps, screenshots, fan theories and countless late-night checks of Rockstar’s social media accounts, the wait for a fresh official look at GTA VI is finally coming to an end — at least for now.
The extended look arrives amid a wave of unauthorised gameplay leaks. Rockstar broke its week-long silence on August 26, describing the leaked footage as “heartbreaking for our team” and apologising to fans for the long wait.
More than 10 clips have reportedly surfaced from a source known as CyberLeek, with Take-Two Interactive reportedly seeking information from Discord, Microsoft and X to trace the source of the leaks.
Despite the disruption, Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will premiere as planned, with Netflix getting the first release before the footage appears on Rockstar’s official channels.

Wait, Netflix? Yes, that Netflix
Yes, Rockstar is giving Netflix the first release of the GTA VI Extended Look, marking an unusual partnership between the game studio and the streaming platform.
Netflix subscribers will get early access to the footage, while the same extended look will be released six hours later on Rockstar Games’ YouTube channel and official website, where it will be available to everyone for free.
What will the Extended Look show?
Rockstar has not revealed exactly what the “Extended Look” will contain. The studio has yet to confirm whether it will feature new gameplay, story details or previously unseen elements.
That uncertainty is likely to fuel another round of fan theories and frame-by-frame analysis, particularly as the release comes amid a wave of unauthorised leaks.
The hype surrounding GTA VI is already enormous. Rockstar’s previous trailers generated hundreds of millions of views, demonstrating the extraordinary level of interest surrounding the long-awaited sequel.
The countdown has begun
With GTA VI officially scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, the Netflix and YouTube releases could mark the beginning of Rockstar’s final marketing push.
Set in the fictional, Florida-inspired state of Leonida, the game will follow protagonists Jason and Lucia through a sprawling world centred around Vice City. After years of speculation and anticipation, fans are finally getting another official glimpse of what Rockstar has been building.
