The Ministry of Economy has announced that many products will witness up to 90 per cent discount in all society cooperative stores.
According to Emarat Al Youm, the ministry held a meeting with all major cooperative stores in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, issuing a directive to solve all customer complaints.
Hashim Al Nuaimi, Director of Ministry of Economy’s Competitiveness and Consumer Protection Department, confirmed that society co-op stores in Abu Dhabi agreed to implement a 50 per cent to 90 per cent sale on many essential goods.
The discounts will be assigned according to the type and importance of each product.
He added that the ministry has started the preparations for Ramadan early, emphasising that the discounts will be implemented in all store branches in order to reach the maximum number of customers.
