Free pre-Iftar health screenings scheduled in Dubai for Ramadan 2026

Date:

Services offered will include complimentary eye exams, blood pressure monitoring, and blood sugar testing.

The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai has announced the launch of free medical examination stations under its Ramadan initiative, “A Step of Life,” scheduled for February 26, March 5, and March 12.

Organized in collaboration with Prime Medical Care and Noor Dubai Foundation, the health screenings will be available at multiple locations across Dubai.

The health screenings will be held at Quranic Park, Kite Beach, and Nad Al Sheba Park from 4 pm until sunset, with the option to extend the hours if needed. Services include complimentary eye exams, blood pressure checks, and blood sugar tests, aiming to promote early detection of chronic diseases and support the community’s health and wellness efforts.

Mobile medical buses will be deployed at busy locations to raise awareness and provide simple guidance for children and families on healthy lifestyles, aiming to transform medical checkups from a seasonal activity into a sustainable community habit.

Mohammed Musbeh Dhahi, Executive Director of the Charity Sector and General Coordinator of the initiative, emphasized that this year’s “Step of Life” program is designed with a focus on the family and the child, reflecting the department’s belief that a healthy society begins with awareness within the family.

He highlighted that the initiative also aims to foster a sustainable health culture through regular check-ups and to encourage both individual and collective responsibility for health.

The department has urged the public to follow its official channels for information on test dates and locations, and to make full use of the free services offered to citizens and residents.
