Strong winds and dusty conditions are expected to affect parts of the UAE this weekend, bringing shifting weather patterns across the country.

The National Center of Meteorology has forecast generally fair weather across the UAE on Friday, with temperatures expected to rise slightly before dustier and cooler conditions set in over the weekend.
Daytime highs are likely to reach between 40°C and 46°C in inland areas, while coastal and island regions may see temperatures ranging from 36°C to 42°C. In mountainous areas, conditions are expected to remain relatively milder, with temperatures between 27°C and 32°C.
The National Center of Meteorology said light to moderate winds are expected on Friday, occasionally strengthening up to 40 km/h. These winds may cause rougher sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf late at night, while the Oman Sea is expected to remain slight to moderate.
The National Center of Meteorology said weather conditions are expected to change on Saturday, with dust and blowing sand likely in parts of the country as northwesterly to southwesterly winds intermittently strengthen. Temperatures are also forecast to dip slightly.
By Sunday, skies are expected to become partly cloudy at times, particularly in eastern areas. Humid conditions may develop overnight into Monday morning across some inland and coastal regions, with the possibility of mist formation, especially in western parts of the country.
The National Center of Meteorology forecast that temperatures are expected to rise again on Monday and Tuesday, with generally fair to partly cloudy skies and light to moderate winds continuing.
Sea conditions are also likely to improve gradually, becoming slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea by the start of next week.
