Eid Al Fitr 2026 in UAE: Sharjah to offer free public parking

Smart and paid parking areas will continue to require payment during the holiday.

Sharjah Municipality has announced that public parking in the Emirate will be free on the first three days of Eid Al Fitr.

The move enables residents and visitors to celebrate the holiday without concern for parking fees.

The municipality clarified that the exemption does not cover smart parking lots or paid zones, which will continue to require payment throughout the week and on public holidays.

Drivers are advised to follow the blue informational signs to prevent incurring fines.
